Description:
A breathtaking system of caverns and gorgeous woods and valleys are yours to explore when you stay at Sequoyah Caverns and Campground, near I-59 in Valley Head, in the northeast corner of Alabama. RVers and tent campers alike are welcome at our beautiful property, which offers something for everyone, and a convenient online reservation system to help you plan your trip. Swim in the sparkling pool, hike through the neighboring trails, or visit the barnyard to pet the goats, fallow deer and potbellies ¿ whatever you do, the fun never ends!

If getting back to nature is the plan, then the Mountain Lakes region of Alabama is the place to be, featuring DeSoto State Park, with its 22 mile scenic drive that takes you right past the majestic Little River Falls as well as magnificent rock formations. Boating, fishing and hiking are favorite pastimes at the park, and a short drive to Little River Canyon will lead to a white water rafting adventure that you will never forget.

A visit to nearby Fort Payne reveals a charming town brimming with southern hospitality as well as quaint shops, superb eateries, local museums and historical homes. Of course, a day in the Sequoyah Caverns just a short walk from the campground allows visitors to go on guided tours, do some gem mining and see amazing subterranean rock formations. But whether you venture below ground or climb to the top of Cheaha Mountain, the highest point in Alabama, you'll be happy to return to Sequoyah Caverns and Campground, your mountain home away from home.
