Wilderness Lakes is located southeast of Los Angeles and northeast of San Diego, right off Interstate 215 in the quiet town of Menifee. We're just a ninety-minute drive away from famous Southern California attractions like Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, and the world-class golf courses of Palm Springs. Once you've had your fill of roller coasters, wild animals, water slides, and rides, come back to our Menifee campground for tennis, a swim, or songs and s'mores around the campfire.
Our local area has a number of excellent attractions, beginning with the incredible viewpoint and museum at nearby Diamond Valley Lake. You can stop in the Winchester Cheese Factory, catch a minor-league baseball game with the Lake Elsinore Storm, or take a ride aboard the historic Orange Empire Railway Museum. Old Town Temecula, with its shops, historic sites, and farmer's market, is a great place to explore. And don't miss hikes along the gorgeous Santa Rosa Plateau or tours through the idyllic countryside, getting to know Temecula wine country. |
