Tucked away in 98 acres of rolling hills of Cochran, Georgia, the Hillside Bluegrass RV Park offers a picturesque facility for camping in the historic south. Convenient to I-75, I-16 and US Hwy 23, with an easy to use online reservations system, the campground is a centrally located paradise and plays host to the twice yearly Hillside Bluegrass Festival. With plenty of RV sites featuring 50 amp hookups, available tent campsites and even charming rental cabins, the campground is the perfect place for groups, offering open-air pavilions as well as banquet facilities.
Guests don't have to stray far to enjoy fishing in the camp's pond, as well as kayaking, canoeing, bird watching, hiking, biking, hunting and golfing. The Hillside Bluegrass Festival takes place annually on the grounds during the third weekend of May and the third weekend in September. This festival draws Bluegrass bands and fans from around the country and features workshops for banjo, guitar, bass, mandolin, and fiddle as well as an arts and crafts show and a kid's workshop.
Visitors to Hillside Bluegrass RV Park will enjoy touring the historic town of Cochran, the county seat, with its antique shops, restaurants, and festivals celebrating the rich agricultural heritage of the region. Other area events include the Georgia State Air Show, which takes place each June, and the Hillside Country Music Festival during the first weekend in November and also takes place on the grounds of the lovely Hillside Bluegrass RV Park. |
