Modern and convenient accommodations await at the Caboose Lake Campground in the rural farm community of Remington in Northwest Indiana. A short distance from I-65 off of US 24, the campground offers an easy to use online reservation systems and plenty of amenities, including a 20 acre, 80 feet deep lake perfect for boating, fishing, swimming, or lounging on the sand beach. A boat ramp, bait and tackle, and free paddleboats are available to campers, with fishing boats and sailboats to rent.

Caboose Lake Campground boasts a full calendar of fun activities for guests, such as horseshoe tournaments, live music, fishing contests, dinners and train rides for kids, bbq cookoffs and a bluegrass festival. The camp's spacious RV sites with full hook-ups, tent sites and rental cabins sit in close proximity to the regulation sand volleyball court, with a concession stand and worship services provided in the summer. Groups are welcome at the facility, which is just a short distance from area antique shops and restaurants.

The Indiana Beach Fun Park, a seasonal family park with water skiing, swimming, boating, amusement rides, roller coasters and water park is only a 20 minute drive from the campground, in nearby Monticello. The Tippecanoe Battlefield, a National Historic Landmark just north of Lafayette, is the original site of the Shawnee Village of Tippecanoe, where Native Americans and white settlers once fought. Another historic Native American site is the Woodland Native American village re-creation within the Prophetstown State Park, which contains a council house, wigwams, and more, and is only one of many other interesting destinations for guests of Caboose Lake Campground.
