When you are ready to get out and explore the area, be sure to stop at the Tippecanoe Battlefield, just seven miles north, where Native Americans and white settlers fought over land hundreds of years ago. Today, the site houses a unique museum with exhibits and interpretive programs. The Indiana Beach Fun Park is another fantastic destination, in Monticello, with rides, roller coasters, live entertainment and an enormous waterpark with water slides and an action river.
