Conveniently located off of I-70 in lovely Salina, Kansas, the campground offers guests spacious paved pull through RV sites, as well as unlimited tent campsites, all available through our online reservation system. The sparkling swimming pool is a refreshing place to cool off on a hot summer day and the private Sundowner Lake provides the ideal spot to cast a line for some bass or catfish.
When you are ready to head out and explore the wonderful natural sites, be sure to visit Snowdale State Park, just two miles west of the campground, for fantastic bird and wildlife viewing. Kanopolis State Park, just a bit further from camp, features 25 miles of trails, all starting in the park, revealing rugged terrain and spectacular views. You won't believe your eyes when you travel to Mushroom Rock State Park where unusual natural rock formations sprout up out of the landscape looking for all the world like mushrooms! Be sure to bring your binoculars as well, so you won't miss a bald eagle soaring in the wide-open Kansas skies.
Our bustling hometown of Salina provides campers with many attractions to keep you busy, such as the Rolling Hills Zoo, with over 80 species of animals on 145 acres of park land. Jumpin' Joe¿s Family Fun Center also has entertainment for all, with go-karts, laser tag, and deluxe miniature golf courses at your disposal.
