Our park is set off Highway 92 north of Kansas City and Independence, south of St. Joseph Missouri, in the lovely town of Platte City. With our stocked fishing pond, swimming pool, walking trails, and in-camp games like shuffleboard, volleyball, and horseshoes, you'll find plenty to do as you relax in our family-friendly park.
Use our Platte City RV park as your base camp while you set out on day trips to explore Kansas City attractions like the Kansas City Zoo, Worlds of Fun Amusement Park, or a game with the Kansas City Royals or Kansas City Chiefs. Catch a NASCAR race at the Kansas Speedway or a sporting event at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, then head back to camp for one of our hay rides (offered every Friday and Saturday). In July, be sure to bring your fishing gear for the amazing Entire Month of July Fishing Tournament, held right here at Basswood Country Resort in Platte City Missouri. |
