A four-acre private lake serves as the centerpiece of the property, providing non-stop water fun including swimming, relaxing on the beach, canoeing and boating. Fishing is excellent in the lake, where bass, bluegill, pickerel and bullhead wait for you to cast your line. Nearby Hawkins Pond, a picturesque nature preserve, has three levels of hiking trails where visitors can come eye to eye with the flora and fauna of central southern New York State.
For exciting off-camp adventures, be sure to head to Binghamton, a short drive from the campground and home to an impressive collection of six antique carousels. Donated by a local businessman, the carousels are free to ride and have been charming children for 80 years.
