Description:
Come to where the gentle waters of Lake Ontario lap on the shore and the rolling green countryside provides a peaceful place to settle down, Sunset RV Park Cabins and Campground, a family owned resort in Oswego, New York. Located off of Route 34 near I-90, the campground welcomes RVers and tent campers alike with either waterfront, lake view or shaded sites. We even rent nostalgic camping cabins! If you want to get away from it all but still be close to big city amenities, the Sunset is the right place for you, and don't forget to use our convenient online reservation system to help plan your stay.

The campground, open from May to October is the perfect destination for a family trip, with a sparkling swimming pool that will cool you off in the warmer months, a playground and a restaurant and ice cream parlor just across the street. Fishing from the lake shore is excellent, so cast a line and try to catch some of the trout, monster coho, chinook and steelhead that swim in these waters. You can launch a boat at Wright's Landing Marina, the intersection of the New York State canal system and Lake Ontario, with seasonal boat slips, transient slips and a six lane boat launch.

Venture into downtown Oswego and enjoy the sights as you walk along the scenic Oswego River Walk West, cross the river on the Harbor View River Walkway and end up on the River Walk East. A visit to historic Fort Ontario is necessary, where you can see costumed interpreters acting out the roles of the officers, men and civilians who lived in the fort from 1868-1869. From the historic sites that are around every corner, to the majestic waters of the Great Lake Ontario, there is something for everyone in and around Oswego. So come and stay awhile at Sunset RV Park Cabins and Campground and start making your vacation memories today.
