Open seasonally from May 1 through Columbus Day, the camp is easy to find off of Rt. 202 and Rt. 4 in the charming town of Alfred. Spacious RV sites will make the perfect home away from home and wooded tent campsites are available for those who want to rough it. Resort-quality amenities available to our guests include a large swimming pool, ideal for a refreshing dip in the warmer months, as well as a playground, onsite camp store and online reservations system.

Located just 30 minutes from Maine's Atlantic shore, a drive to the beach is a must when you stay at Walnut Grove. Many lighthouses dot the Ocean's edge, and the Old Orchard Beach Pier is a quaint spot to visit, with many unique shops, restaurants and games of skill. The town of Wells is another worthwhile destination, with a chain of three beautiful wide beaches that hug the shore. There are so many things to do and see in the area, you may not have time for them all, which just means you'll have to come back to your east coast home away from home, Walnut Grove Campground. |
