Sweeping views of the breathtaking Black Hills of South Dakota await guests of Lazy J RV Park in Rapid City. Located near I-90 off of Hwy 16, the camp offers a convenient online reservation system to assist you in planning your trip. RVs of every size, tents, campers and travel trailers are welcome at the site, which also has a limited number of sleeping rooms available, all nestled in a quiet, wooded setting.
Clean and comfortable, the campground has a sparkling heated swimming pool, as well as a summer kitchen and family room, great for group or family gatherings. The adjacent Black Hills are perfect for hiking and biking, with over 6,000 miles of trails that wind through canyons and forests and up to mountain tops. Rockhounding is a favorite pastime in the area and is permitted in the foothills and limestone cliffs of the Kadoka, Interior and Fairburn rockbeds.
The fishing is excellent throughout the 14 mountain lakes that dot the region, as well as in the 300 miles of meandering streams filled with bass, northern pike, trout and more. For indoor activities, a quick drive into Rapid City provides unique shopping venues as well as world class restaurants and entertainment. Another exceptional excursion is to the Black Hills Caverns, where tours of the prehistoric cave reveal fabulous subterranean rock formations, all just a stone's throw from the Lazy J RV Park. |
