Small Country Campground, in Louisa, Virginia, offers excellent family-oriented amenities and lake and camping games and activities in history-rich Central Virginia. We are located west onto I-64 at Richmond. Reserve you campsite online and make plans to enjoy the beauty and history of Virginia.
Our 25-acre Lake Ruth Ann, with its roped-off five-foot safety area for the small fry and diving platform out deeper, is a great place to swim and sunbathe. Put your boat, or one of our rentals, in at our ramp and fish for crappie, bass, bream or catfish. Enjoy our sparkling swimming pool or sit under your own umbrella and read and relax and later explore the 150-acre campground with its wildlife and the beautiful greenery of our forest of hardwood trees with displays of wildflowers and mushrooms or participate in one of our many planned parties, and other activities or games.
From Small Country Campground you are in close proximity to many of the most revered Civil War battle sites, such as Trevilian Station and Wilderness. You also are close enough to historic Richmond and Fredericksburg to go see Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, James Madison's Montpelier and the famous Michie Tavern. Camp here for the area's history and our friendly first-class service and activity and a totally memorable vacation experience. |
