For those looking to explore the region around camp, Crabtree Falls is a must see. With a series of five major cascades falling a distance of 1,200 feet, the falls is the highest vertical drop cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi. Another great site, Virginia's Natural Bridge, is over 100 million years old, is one of the seven natural wonders of the world and spans the Blue Ridge and Allegheny Mountain Ridges.
