Since Rockahock is wrapped around the scenic banks of the Chickahominy Lake, we encourage you to bring your boat and see what kind of dinner you can lure in. In addition to full hookups, diner/snack bar, laundry and clean bathhouse, and a convenience store, Rockahock has plenty of outdoor activities such as a picnic area and playground, barbeque facilities, and swimming. Check out the marina and courtesy dock, pick up supplies at Rocky's Bait & Tackle Shop, right on the campground, and launch your own boat, kayak, motor boat, or inner tubes, or take a stroll along the dock and just soak up some sun.
The race enthusiast will want to visit the Richmond International Raceway or Colonial Downs, for a great day trip with excitement for the whole family. For a bit of American history, stop it at Colonial Williamsburg and historic Yorktown. The Rockahock campground also hosts many weekend concerts for a variety of music that can't be beat. |
