RED CARPET

Oklahoma
RED CARPET

Grasslands, mesas, and watering holes define the dry, high plains of the panhandle region. Tour the spectacular gypsum formations that dominate this part of the state, or head straight for Black Mesa, Oklahoma’s highest point (4,973 ft.). Outlaws took shelter in these parts, a land where dinosaurs once roamed. Hunt for fossils, play on sand dunes, or watch the bats in Alabaster Caverns State Park.
