Santee Coastal Reserve (bird watching (over 250 species), wildlife viewing, canoeing, trail walking, biking, wildflower viewing). From Hwy 17 between Georgetown and McClellanville, take S-10-857 (South Santee Rd.) to unpaved Santee Gun Club Rd. Feb-Oct. 843-546-8665

Beaufort:
Hunting Island State Park

Wando River:
Palmetto Islands County Park
