Cumberland Gap National Historic Park, (hiking, camping, wildlife viewing, scenic drive, historic displays). Take Rte. 58 west of Jonesville. 606-248-2847

Shenandoah National Park
Blue Ridge Parkway, (scenic drive through Blue Ridge Mountains. Hike along the Appalachian Trail). Join the Parkway (heading north) from I-77 or Rte. 220, south of Roanoke.
