Wyoming
NORTHEAST

Windswept and wild, northeastern Wyoming is hauntingly beautiful. The region is known for Devils Tower, a rock formation that shoots straight up nearly 1,300 feet above the Belle Fourche River Valley. Many of the Plains Indians call this unusual landform "Bears Lodge." The Tower attracts hikers to its surrounding forests and mountain climbers who strive to reach the top. Northeastern Wyoming draws nature lovers, bird watchers, and fisherfolk to its mountains, plains, and prairies.
