The Humboldt County Parks system features a number of wonderful parks with miles of shoreline and hiking areas including the Redwood Forest, which, according to the locals is a very big deal. Take a day trip into Ferndale and visit the Blacksmith's Shop, the Victorian Village of Ferndale, and then head out to Eureka and step back in time as you wander through the curio shops on Main Street where time appears to have stood still. |
