Come view the sparking falls at Copper Falls State Park, a land of deep gorges, coniferous woods, and 8 miles of river to explore. Further east, you’ll find 222,000-acre Northern-Highland American Legion State Forest, Wisconsin’s largest and most popular state property. Watch for loons on the lake, or spy deer, otters, beavers, foxes, or black bears. The foaming rivers of Peshtigo River State Forest make for excellent kayaking and fly-fishing. Enjoy beautiful deep woods scenery as you listen to the calls of songbirds, goshawks, and bald eagles.
