A spacious air-conditioned recreation hall with a stage provides a comfortable meeting place, and a full kitchen with refrigerator and freezer is perfect for gatherings and meals. Four lighted shuffleboard courts keep visitors busy, and out-of-park adventures are planned for picnics, concerts, and gambling tours. Those interested in boating, kayaking, canoeing, jet skiing or water skiing will find rental facilities nearby. The many area parks include observation towers for alligator, bird and turtle watching, and fresh or salt-water fishing is a popular activity among visitors to Bickley Park.
This campground serves as a perfect base camp to visit the many attractions in the Central Florida region, including Heritage Village, a 21 acre historical village depicting early Florida settlements. The Florida Botanical Gardens is located within minutes of Bickley Park, and John's Pass is a fun boardwalk seaside shopping and dining area that offers sightseeing, gambling and fishing tours. This area hosts many local museums, such as the Tampa Bay Holocaust Memorial Museum and the Florida International Museum along with major attractions such as Busch Gardens and Major League Baseball spring training camps, all just a short distance from the conveniently located, customer-friendly Bickley Park. |
