We offer a relaxing camping environment at our Bear Lake campground in a setting that's near all the best highlights of Manistee County. You can go antique shopping in Frankfort, find a fun restaurant in Manistee, or head up beautiful Crystal Mountain for a day of hiking, biking, swimming, or family activities. At the end of the day, return to our Michigan campground for a quiet evening around the campfire.

Our park is set near Highway 115 and U.S. Highway 31, about 40 minutes from Lake Michigan and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. This is a great place to go for scenic drives, lake-shore hikes, and the chance to climb up a towering sand dune. If you prefer, stay closer to camp and enjoy golfing at the Chestnut Hills Golf Course or dancing and live music during one of our bluegrass events that take place on the third Wednesday of every month.
You can head to the Little River Casino Resort for gaming, fine meals, and nightlife, or explore the historic Kaleva Bottle House Museum. Our local area has opportunities for horseback riding, hunting, water-skiing, and tennis, as well as winter sports like cross-country skiing and snowboarding.
