The wooded landscape of western Michigan is the backdrop for the peaceful, secluded Lakeview United Methodist Campground in Lakeview. A mission campground owned and operated by the Western Michigan Conference of the United Methodist Church, this lovely property is packed with amenities, including spacious RV sites with full hook ups as well as level tent sites. Situated on a private lake, the seasonal campground, open from the first Monday in May through the last weekend in September is easy to find off of Hwy 131 and Hwy 46, and is situated just 50 miles north of Grand Rapids.
A premier Christian camping destination for family fun and fellowship, the camp offers guests plenty to do on-site, including excellent fishing for bass and pike. Bring your own boat or take advantage of one of the rental sailboats, rowboats or paddleboats. Mountain biking and hiking is sensational on the miles of nature trails in and around the park, where you can come face to face with the flora and fauna of western Michigan.
A convenient online reservation system makes your trip easy to plan, and the many area attractions provide plenty to do off-site. Located in the heart of Amish country, the many quaint towns in the area offer handcrafted goods and homebaked treats, as well as a fun-to-visit cheese factory. The many local golf courses, flea markets and restaurants are all just a short drive from camp, making the Lakeview United Methodist Campground an ideal spot from which to enjoy all that western Michigan has to offer. |
