The fishing is excellent in the clear waters, which yield black bass, sand bass, summertime crappie and catfish. The lake is also a perfect place to enjoy the fine north central Texas weather and many water sports including sailing, waterskiing and swimming.
When you venture off the park, be sure to try your luck at the Winstar Casino, just 20 miles north of camp.
