A picturesque nature trail and biking road on-site provide for some healthy sightseeing of the region's fabulous flora and fauna. Off camp, however, many other recreational activities are available, including fly fishing at Pass Lake, crabbing and leisurely walks on the shore, observing the fascinating tide pool ecosystems. Be sure to plan an excursion with Island Adventure, Inc., the only orca whale watching tour with enough experience to guarantee a whale sighting!
Trips with Anacortes Kayak Tours are also favorite pastimes, taking guests to the 'secret side' of the San Juans, away from crowded and developed shore lines. For a little indoor fun, the San Juan Vineyards is another must-see, with its tasting room and gift shop situated in an 1896 one room school house, and featuring some of the best wines in the region.
