Nestled in the majestic Northwoods region of Wisconsin, the Pine Grove Campground, located off of Hwy 29 and Hwy 45, is the place to go for relaxation or recreation. Situated near the town of Shawano, the campground offers all the amenities of home, and is open April 13 through November 27. Two private lakes dot the property, and provide great fishing and a picturesque swimming beach for play or lounging. Canoes, rowboats and paddleboats are available to rent and volleyball and basketball courts are great for outdoor fun. Nearby Shawano Lake is open to all types of boating including sailing, canoeing, jet skiing and water skiing and is a great place to catch blue gill, largemouth bass, muskie and more.
Wolf River, also a short distance from camp, offers excellent opportunities to go canoeing or river rafting, and come face to face with the flora and fauna of northern Wisconsin. If indoor activity is what you crave, be sure to stop at the quaint antique shops in Shawano, or try your luck at the North Star or Menominee Casinos, just a stone's throw from camp.
