Transportation
Most transportation in New York City will allow dogs that are in kennels.

Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Subways and Buses - Allow small dogs in kennels on the subways and buses
Taxis and Limousines - Many taxi drivers will take your dogs, although it is at their discretion whether they choose to or not.
